Insect Conservation

Why should you care about insects?

There are a lot more reasons than you might think. I’m giving a talk today exploring what’s happening to insect populations—and what the science tells us about widespread declines.

During my insect conservation talk I'll discuss:

- Why insects are essential to healthy ecosystems and human well-being

- The forces driving change, from habitat loss and pesticide use to climate change and invasive species

- What researchers are actually finding about insect populations

- Most importantly, what you can do to help

Through stories, research, and practical examples, I’ll share simple ways to support insect biodiversity—from creating habitat and planting native plants to reducing pesticide impacts and making our landscapes more diverse.

Whether you’re a gardener, nature enthusiast, conservationist, or simply curious about the tiny creatures that keep our world functioning, I hope you’ll join me!
